Dr. Daly was born here in Lafayette and graduated from North Vermillion High School. He continued his education at McNeese State University where he spent 4 years as a cheerleader and earned a bachelor's degree in Biology. Dr Daly job shadowed many medical professionals before choosing to become a chiropractor after experiencing firsthand the healing power of the human body when interference is removed. Dr. Douglas attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Douglas also holds BS degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness; as well as certifications in Fascial Movement Taping and Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
Dr. Douglas is currently pursuing his specialization in Neurology. Dr. Douglas practiced for 2 years in Dutch Harbor, Alaska before marrying Dr. Kelly and moving back to Lafayette. Dr Daly uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain, carpal tunnel, neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. Dr. Daly has a special interest in athletes of all ages, and hast experience working with everyone from youth cheerleaders to local high school football players, and weekend warriors.
Dr. Kelly was born in Richland, Washington and then pursued her higher education at the University of Montana. She earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Kelly spent 2 years working with a physical therapist designing rehabilitation exercise programs and running a specialized weight loss exercise program. Dr. Kelly also attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas where she earned her Doctorate and a certification in Applied Kinesiology. After graduation, she moved to Grand Junction, Colorado and discovered her passion for working with children, infants and expectant mothers.
She is a certified Webster practitioner, this approach balances the function of the sacrum and its associated ligaments and muscles. Webster has proven to be extremely beneficial for expectant mothers and often relieves pain, increases the quality of sleep, decreases numbness and allows optimal baby positioning for shorter and less painful labor. Somehow Dr. Doug talked Dr. Kelly into moving up to Alaska too, and she spent one adventurous year in Dutch Harbor with him hiking, taking photographs (which you will find all over our office) and trying to stay warm!
Dr. Kelly is currently pursuing continuing education and specialization in Pediatric and Prenatal Care through the ICPA. Learn more about Pediatric Chiropractic Care. Drs. Douglas and Kelly have 3 young kids and are currently loving the adventures of parenthood! Dr. Kelly currently sits on the board of directors for the Acadiana Breastfeeding Coalition.
Amy is a registered dietitian with her BS from Texas Woman's University in 2013, and completed her dietetic internship at University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014. She has been with us since October of 2016, and has lost 16 pounds since starting the Ideal Protein Protocol in November!
Amy believes that everyone can accomplish their weight loss goals with the Ideal Protein Protocol. She knows everyone is different, and tailors the experience to what each individual client needs. She wants to help you lose the weight and give you the tools to keep the weight off!
